How is this ZZZ tier list scored?
Formula: score = 40×exposure + 30×substitutability + 20×versionFit + 10×easeOfUse. Weights: exposure 40%, substitutability 30%, version fit 20%, ease of use 10%. Letter bands from the current build: S ≥83, A 66–82, B 48–65, C <48. Tiers are assigned from that score — not a hand-sorted spreadsheet.
How inputs are set
- Exposure (0–1) — relative presence in Shiyu Defense / Deadly Assault clear patterns we track for the current patch.
- Substitutability (0–1) — how hard the agent is to replace in their specialty (higher = harder to swap out).
- Version fit (0–1) — alignment with current bosses, weaknesses, and patch mechanics.
- Ease of use (0–1) — how forgiving the kit is for typical players.
Update cadence: component inputs are reviewed in small batches each version (not a full re-score of all 62 agents every day). Last evaluated date on agents: Oct 22, 2026. New debut agents with thin usage data lean on version fit + kit readability first, then exposure rises as endgame clears accumulate — treat early placements as provisional. Chip labels: Tier S/A/B/C is the score band; S-Rank / A-Rank is in-game rarity (they are not the same). This list does not publish per-hit damage logs — use specialist build sites for that.

What do the component scores mean?

Version fit: how well they match the current patch’s bosses and mechanics. Ease of use: how demanding the kit is to play well. These are editorial inputs on a 0–1 scale, not raw damage logs.
What does this tier list not measure?
It is not a damage calculator, not cinema/investment breakpoints, and not a copy of another site’s table. Pair it with specialist build guides before high-cost pulls.
Should I always pull the S-tier agents?
Not always. S-tier means strong current endgame value, but your account needs role coverage and the right banner timing. Cross-check the banner schedule before spending Polychrome.
Is this copied from other tier lists?
